Do you actually care about P4P?

"If all the boxers were the same size, who would win?"

A hypothetical question that a load of journalists answer, frequently changing as they often get it wrong. Hypothetical. Opinion.

You come on here some days and you'd think it was a title someone won in the ring.

I don't care anything for P4P lists but they are a good tool for journalists to incite debates and generate feedback.

To me, all that matters is who is number one and the rest are irrelevant.

      Not really!not anymore

It is too subjective and now all it takes is for a fighter to be a belt holder and now they are in everybody's top10 pd 4 pd. Fighters like Kelly Pavlik and Antonio Margarito should never have been in anybody's pd 4 pd ratings, but they get one win over a fighter in their own division and now they are pd 4 pd? Its a joke. I liked it back in the days when fighters like Chavez and Sweatpea fought their way up from the smaller weights to the welterweights and fought the best proving that they could beat fighters who were literally naturallly bigger than themselves. I would say that Shane Mosley is the last true pound 4 pound champion. He moved up from 135 to 147 and beat a prime Oscar after knocking out the Puerto Rican fighter I cant remember his name. After his reign, it his become watered down.
