yea thats what i meant, sorry i shouldve been more clear on that. He was champion though, yet he looked like an amateur against Caballero. He was getting hit with some soft shots, even the commentators were like "WTF?!"

I am for Rafael Marquez versus any of three other champs.
Caballero and Vasquez earned their stripes, so I'd like to see him fight Juan Ma if possible.

Then winner gets Caballero or Vasquez.

Ponce de Leon ain't done nothing but get beat by Juan Ma and Caballero anyways.

What's cool about 122 is there are some good guys at least 3waiting in the wings that any of these guys could fight and would be good fights.
Poonsawat, Cordoba, Jhonny Gonzales all rate higher for me than PDL at the moment.

The good thing about the little guys is they tend to fight each other more often cuz there aren't as many big paydays for them and they make less so you're not going to get the level of bs negotiation you do at the higher weights.

His handlers said the fight would be an eliminator or for some kind of a title belt. Trainer and manager Nacho Beristain has responded to the fight rumor hitting the Mexican press and denies that Marquez is interested in a bout with Ponce De Leon. [details]

I would be interested to see this fight if ever happens, both of them are former champions who lost their last fight & needs to revive their careers for another title shot w/ current champions in their division (like Vasquez, rising star JML, etc....)
