one win and you're no. 3?
what has pavlik done? beat taylor? what did taylor ever do? beat hopkins?
please......
marquez went toe to toe and had a disputed loss to the #1 p4p fighter in a fight of the year candidate.
hopkins bored the **** out of everyone in a crappy fight in which he lost to calzaghe.
disputable loss in a great fight to #1 > loss in a boring fight to #2
marquez then knocked out the lineal lightweight champion in the world.
casamayor > pavlik
that trumps hopkins beating pavlik.
no way marquez should be lower than hopkins.
Marquez should be higher than Hopkins but also Calzaghe....Precision

marquez's disputable loss to pacquiao and win over casamyor trumps what calzaghe did last year against hopkins and roy but joe is still undefeated so i'm not gonna argue to much against calzaghe over juanma.

#1 Pacquiao - Can't argue with that. He's the man right now
#2 Marquez - Should never be seperated from Pacquiao until he either loses or the 3rd fight happens and concludes the debate
#3 Calzaghe - Is not better than Marquez
#4 Hopkins - Similarly to Marquez, should not be removed from Calzaghe since their extremely close fight. In fact he's even gained more points than Calzaghe since the fight.
#5 Vasquez - Why on Earth would they decide to drop him a place or two???
#6 R. Marquez - Yes, he's coming off the back of two losses, but if you've actually seen the fights you know why he should be so high
#7 Mosley - Leapfrogs into Cotto then Margarito's former position
This is where I believe Mosley should be ranked for now. Some might argue it's a bit high still, but he beat the man who beat the man and thus finds himself in their former position

add hatton , cotto , donaire , lopez , darchinyan , dawson or maybe even wlad as the other 3.
williams and calderon don't belong on the list.

off the top of my head i would probably put 8, 9 and 10 as Darchinyan, Calderon and Cotto/Donaire respectively
But it's very hard to differentiate between some of the guys between 8 and like 12 at the moment

anyways......plus my knowledge of the lower-lower weight classes are very little. i don't know any of the guys ivan has beat tbh.
i don't know who to put as the last 3 between a number of guys. darchinyan because of mijares......nonito because of vic......cotto beat mosley and his loss to marg didn't really hurt him imo......lopez just looks invincible at 122......as bad as heavy is wlad is still dominating......dawson beat tarver and glen johnson......
any of those guys make a list i won't complain.
williams doesn't deserve it though. he has 1 good win and it wasn't even impressive.
