..WELTERWEIGHT: Is There A Better Division?...

I'm not trying to prove any point, to some crazy extent. I just happen to think Welterweight is the best division out. Anyone got a totally different opinion, o just flat out disagree?

My top choices besides welterweight would be....

JR. BANTAMWEIGHT; Vic Darchinyan, Fernando Montiel, Jorge Arce, Jose Navarro, Z Gorres, Alexander Munoz.

JR FEATHERWEIGHT; ISRAEL VAZQUEZ, Rafael Marquez, Juan Manuel Lopez, Celestino Caballero, Daniel Ponce De Leon, Jhonny Gonzalez (I think he is still there), Bernabe Concepcion, Steve Molitor.

LIGHTWEIGHT; JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ, Edwin Valero, Juan Diaz, Joel Casamayor, Ali Funeka, Nate Campbell, Michael Katsidis. (Manny Pacquiao).

JR. WELTERWEIGHT; RICKY HATTON, Devon Alexander, Junior Witter, Timothy Bradley, Paulie Malignaggi, Victor Ortiz, Kendall Holt, Ricardo Torres, Herman Ngoudjo. (Manny Pacquiao).

JR. MIDDLEWEIGHT; Sergio Martinez, Vernon Forrest, Cory Spinks, Sergio Mora, Daniel Santos, James Kirkland, Joel Julio, Alfredo Angula, Ricardo Mayorga, Carlos Quintana. (Paul Williams).

SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT; Mikkel Kessler, Lucian Bute, Librado Andrade, Carl Froch, Jermain Taylor, Sakio Bika, Allan Green.

    Then, of course is.....

WELTERWEIGHT; Luis Collazo, Andre Berto, Miguel Cotto, Joshua Clottey, Shane Mosley, Antonio Margarito. You also have the chance of Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, Paul Williams and Ricky Hatton for the right now.

Which division do you think is the cream of the crop?

        Welterweight division is no.1 today.
It remind me of 90s when there was Tyson,Bowe,Hollyfield,Moorer,Lewis.

Yeah, I like 168. Even from this standpoint...

If you saw one of them, walking down the street, they look like they could hold their own in ANY fight. They are big guys. Not to mention that they have much better fights then the fighters at 200 and up.

Look bigger, fight smaller. Nice combination if you ask me.

I think lightweight.. Since Manny still got the WBC LW belt...

            Pacquiao,Marquez,Diaz,Campbell,Casamayor,Guzman,Va lero,Barrera is not a bad division...

            rank 1 and rank 2 p4p....

Super Bantamweight and Super Flyweight are both very strong. Expect 154 to become the new hotbed the future.

Very true, it has A LOT of young talent, with a mi of the old guard, and welterweights have only one choice, and that's to go up in the oncoming years. Two years from now, 154 is gonna explode.
