Another thought, though I think the wrong guy got the nod, it might have been for the best. Marquez made little to nothing, compared to what he could have, and no one really holds this loss against him (other than haters.) John, however, had he lost this big fight for him, his biggest, would have disappeared on the world stage. And a truly talented guy would have been overlooked.

Now, John comes to America and still has a long career ahead of him, regardless of how many fights he's had and Marquez is still the more accomplished fighter, making good money. And who knows, rematches happen all the time.
