Floyd made a business choice in fighting Baldomir the lineal title holder at the time for more money.

At the same time when Margarito did not get Floyd fight. Winky a top 5 P4P fighter offered Margarito 1.5 for a fight. Why did he not take this but choose Clottey instead??

Same thing for Williams. Rejected highest paid day for less money
cotto rematch is still on i believe.

who mentioned floyd? i'm talking about real welterweights here.

williams turned down an immediate rematch with marg , bud.

he only started begging for a marg rematch AFTER marg beat cotto.

it's like jmm turning down an immediate rematch with pacquiao then after pacquiao wins a few big fights and is now making big money he goes and begs for a rematch and talks as if he's being ducked.

        Please get your facts correct.

Peterson disputes what Margarito and Diaz had to say about last year's events, telling BoxingScene that it was Margarito and his team who turned down an immediate rematch,

The reason they fought Carlos was Margarito said no to rematch. They went for Cintron after that but Cintron got injured. Nor Judah or Mosley wanted any part of Williams. They even went negotiations with Pavlik

Please don;t use Pacman. Two questionable decisions over JMM and love to beat up on old Mexican legends

maybe you have your facts wrong.

what i've read is paul turned down the immediate rematch with marg.

          oh well......

all i know is marg has been fighting top notch comp especially recently. who has paul williams fought?

if anyone is ducking anyone......chances are it's the guy with the light resume. that'd be paul......

as far as pacquiao......well i just used it as a comparison. jmm did turn down the immediate rematch and later was begging for one. kinda similar to paul williams. only difference between jmm and paul is of course jmm has very good skills and has a solid resume.

What facts have you read?? Margarito claims were countered by Gooseen. Margarito team never responded after that. How hilarious

Of couse Margarito fought Cotto. Williams called out Cotto after beating Margarito. Arum doesn’t want anything to do with Williams. He even wrote this in his letter. How was he supposed to fight Cintron when injured? Clottey Margarito and Cotto all under Top Rnak. When Arum said he wants nothing to do with Williams, how do you suppose these fights will happen?

It’s at 160. If Williams wins he’ll hopefully fight Strum or winner of AA/Pavlik down the road.

                      at least it's at 160.

at 154......winky hasn't made 154 in years......it would not have been good.
