I noticed that shyt too! The trainer is an employee of the fighter. margie is the head of his co. so the buck stops with him! he shouldn't play the victim role either, it plays into too many boxer stereotypes. I hope they fry this fraud! I wonder will he smile when they slapp him in the face with a stiff suspension and fine!

Exactly he should be on top of things and not just let people do whatever they think is best, its ultimately up to him. Now for not paying attention if what he says is true then will be paying the price for it, for the rest of his life.

Lets see what the commission says, they will test the substance and we will see whats, whats. If it is a material like plaster of paris, it is a cause of concern, not only in preventing future Margarito fights, but also recognition that he may have used the substance with his past opponents; definitely including against Cotto since that was unquestionably his biggest fight.

Yes commission members were there with all of his fights, but if Margarito and his trainers were slick enough, its not inconceivable for them to get that material in Margo's wraps.
Well im not Puerto Rican, Mexican nor black. Im not a die hard fan of neither of them, although i was always thought Margarito was way overated by his fans up until he beat Cotto.

If he did use illegal stuff in his wraps it would suck cause hes an exciting fighter and thats always good for the sport.

Yea it sounds like Margarito is Crying Wolf.

He's coming off like "WOE is me", which is usually a sign of guilt.

It's just really sad man...I mean, I don't feel sorry for Margarito...but it's definitely a black eye for Boxing.
