    If Hatton fights like........

......he did against Kostya Tszyu, can Manny still beat him?

I honestly don't think he can. Kostya was an absolute beast @ 140 and showed no signs of decline in or going into the Hatton fight. This showed how dedicated and determined Hatton was to win the title and it proved him to be a world beater. Ricky is unbeaten @ 140 and I think if he comes w/ that same fire and heart, he will not be denied.

I was wondering if anybody felt like I do on this matter.

can Manny still beat him.......HEEEEELLLLLL NO! Manny can win the first few rounds if he can stay away from Hatton, but Hatton will catch him eventually. Ricky has underrated footwork and has a damn good jab, he can be a damn good boxer but he loves fighting on the inside. If he fights a smart fight he can beat Pacquiao pretty convincingly.

I didn't really like how Hatton fought against Tszyu. He was the sloppiest I'd ever seen him, and had zero head movement (even the Collazo fight wasn't that bad, although he hugged a lot). All Tszyu had to do was wait until Hatton came towards him, and boom - there was the potshot right hand waiting for him all night.

For Hatton to win against Pac, he needs to fight like he did against Castillo. That was some seriously fast footwork he demonstrated (something which may surprise a lot of people), and I liked his defence/head movement a lot better in that fight. He looked slick, fired up and ready to go. I'm pretty confident that version of Hatton can beat Pac.

I doubt Pac is as strong as Tsyzu or Mayweather, i doubt he would be able to wrestle with Hatton for 12 rounds.

Can hatton ever repeat a performance like that!
With floyd snr in his corner he aint gonna get a better chance..
Plus that and watch how roach keeps his mouth shut on the buildup to this one
Unlike he did with Hoya and the rest.Thats cause he knows Snr is gonna be ripping him
apart from now till after the fight

Hatton nullified allot of what Kostya did and effectively broke him down into submission. He was battered and he quit like a battered man. Hatton landed allot of telling shots in that fight and if he faces Manny like that, I gotta believe he will walk out with the 'W'.

Not to discredit Hatton win over Tszyu but we all know that the Kostya beaten by Hatton is not the Kostya we know... Kostya was past it when Hatton beat him...

Sorry, I disagree, Tzsyu put in one of his best performances of his career 6 months before, Tzsyu was still very very good.
