Yes, I posted this already, all the great fights that go onand nothing on Sports Center.

Now, you have a boxer, who just defeated an undefeated fighter and got 'caught' with loaded gloves and it's on the front page.

***, BSPN and *** Mexico for doing such an unthinkable thing, the nerve of them!

it's a pretty big story, and they're sports reporters. i can't fault them for this.

i agree they don't give enough attention to boxing (and plenty of other sports for that matter). espn has really become a 'big 3' sports network, with some coverage of the nhl, tennis, and golf thrown in. i don't like how they'll dissect some off-hand remark made by a player after a tough loss to death, but won't even show the box scores of ncaa hockey.

in their defense i'll say this: as an institution boxing is a joke. there hasn't been a clear heavyweight champ in almost 6 years, all the most important/best match ups are on premium channels or ppv, there are far too many champions, not enough organization, blah blah blah. as a boxing fan, i'm sure you know all the problems with boxing. that's why they don't pay attention to boxing. boxing's inability to organize and govern itself is what is hurting the sport.

I don't know what ESPN you guys watch but the ESPN here always shows highlights of the big fights(world championship boxing caliper). They show weighins and talk about the big fights. ESPN is a business, they aren't going to talk about little fights like James Kirkland vs some latino bum. They will talk about Pacquaio V Hatton or whatever the general public has interest in. Stop crying over what ESPN covers.

We need a boxing network. Or a boxing show a few times a week to discuss wat's going on. 1 hour show 2-3 times a week. But that's just me.

They have being Covering boxing , a bit since the Pacquiao-DLH fight. And they dont even cover the undercards, wich if you ask me is bull ****. They pay attetion to all this college Basketbal and Football, even ****ing golf, but they dont cover boxing. They have to do a better job at that.

They cover ****ing basketball and football prospect all over, but they dont cover guys like Gamboa, Lopez and Jacobs. ESPN needs to start covering Boxing a lot more. This is just sad!!!!!!!!

like i said, man, there are a lot of reasons why they don't cover boxing to the same extent as other sports.
