He put himself in a position to be criticized. We are supposed to blindly have faith that Margarito all of his wins are legit with what has been reported? I am not that gullible. I question his wins given that there was something in his wraps that weren't suppose to be there.

It's not a matter of being credulous or not.

The exact nature of what was found in the wraps Saturday evening is still pending official confirmation.

Which means, any talk of Margarito cheating is still speculation at this stage, whether you like it or not.

Which makes him innocent for the time being.

Which means the questioning of his legacy is wholly premature at this stage, and uncalled for.

Nothing has been proven yet. If they find the plaster then he guilty if they don't he innocent. Seems pretty simple to me . So all you CLOWNS making judgements with out any proof are just wasting time. I find it hard to believe two experienced trainers like Steward and Cotto both missed a plaster hand wrap if he did that night of the fight. Also Plaster hand wraps don't help with throwing a 100 punches a round and/or help ur chin when you walk through shots.

His punches had an effect on his opponents disproportionate to the power and speed he delivered them with.

It must have given Mosley such a confidence boost when ****m returned and told him Margarito was trying to doctor his gloves with plaster. I've never seen Mosley fight with such fury and ferocity.

I think alot of fighters will come out the wod work who Tony has beat or put a beaten on. When Felix Trinidad was quizzed for illegal hand wraps allagations, Fernando Vargas and William Joppy come out and said there must be something in them gloves becasue they have never been hit or felt power like when Tito hit them.

Mmmm, yes, I remember Joppy saying that the moment he got hit by Tito's left hook, it felt different than anything he had ever been hit with before. Like a much deeper, hard thud than the usual hard boxing punch. Joppy would know as well, a very experienced fighter and champion.

uhm, i think these media guys should really wait a bit for the truth to be told before speaking like that. If this gets certified as the cheat it looks like, then yes Margarito and his corner made a terrible thing and they must pay, but it could turn out like a misunderstanding really, maybe it was just pressed wet gauze, but without plaster substance. Id wait the facts before painting a guy gulty in front of the boxing world

i have no problem with Margarito getting intense hate and criticism if he's found out to have done this intentionally and having done it for a while. My problem is that people are completely tearin him apart without waiting for all the facts to be cleared up. if he's found to be guilty then i will be one of those blastin my boy but until then people need to cool their horses just a little bit...

poor margarito. after all the beatings he got from mosley there is another beating worst than he ever had. his legacy is on the line here if he is found cheating. his knockout loss to mosley was a blessing in disguise because had he won and found cheating by the commission, he will be stripped of his title.

He would throw 100 plus in the later rounds, after conserving his energy and starting late, giving away the early rounds(waiting for plaster to fully harden???). And if you are hitting an opponent in the elbows, wrist, and gloves with brick hard plaster in your gloves, your opponont will not have the same power and pop in his punches(allowing Marg. to walk right through shots???).
