I hate to keep bringing this up, but come on now. I don't know exactly what was in there, but there was foreign material. It was said to be a plaster like substance. We know that for a fact. Something was used that isn't supposed to be used. They've been in the fight game a long time. They were doing something wrong. Don't defend what happened or try to justify it. Margarito and has camp were wrong, and they got caught.

Personally, that's part of the game. Obviously not puttin plaster in your hands, but Dempsey did the same thing.
In fact, back in the day fighters were hella durty. It's a fight. I'm not justifying it, but i don't understand why everyone seems so surprised that this stuff still happens? Why? Because it's 2009 and fighters shouldn't behave that way? It's apparent that he needed an edge, which why he wrapped plaster material instead of gauze.
It is the other camp's responsibility to check on their opponents hand wraps. Technically, trainers or one member from the camp, has the right to sit there and watch someone's hands being wrapped. In the corner between rounds, there's a ring offical present to keep an eye on things. The offical makes sure that there's no funny business involved.
I'm a Mosely fan. And i've never been a Margarito fan. But it seems like everyone is appalled by Margo. *****, i'm not. That's the way it goes.
Protect yourself at all times right? It's a fight, and fights can get durty. Nobody said that boxing was fair and square right? Everyone needs that edge. There's a lot of pressure at that level.
