Ode to Michigan the land of Languished Souls
I live in Michigan. This state is in such sad straits. No jobs, no infrastructure, no hope or optimism. To make matters worse it is an abysmal state for boxing, especially on the West side were I am. The state has been an embarressment to boxing at least since the joke of a robbery of Emanual Augustus versus Courtney Burton. Now this joker. Wonderful!
Can I please get an honest commission and some fight cards out here.....PLEASE! -
Perfect time for boxing reform
Maybe with the non-partisan spirit of the new ***** administration we can get some renewed action on the Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act and get rid of the shadowy corruption that obviously still prevails.
This is the perfect time for creating the boxing equivalent of the NBA, MLB, NFL & NHL.
A national commission should ensure that fraudulent rankings, secret kickbacks and extortion plots will be a thing of the past.Comment

You are forgetting this is Michigan. That $1,000 also can buy you 1,000 fine Detroit homes.
