I wouldn't go too far as to say that Chad Dawson is carrying the boxing scene. I've seen one fight of his, Tarver vs. Dawson, and it was pretty boring. Between Paul Williams and Chad Dawson, i'd take Williams.

I think there are far better exciting fighters in American Boxing than Dawson.

Chad Dawson has beat at least 3 former world champions. Does he have the potential to become one of the best? Yes he does. Is he in my top ten pound for pound? NO. The only person I see giving him trouble at this time is Joe Calzaghe.
