Mosley has beem proven at LM. That is as much evidence as we have. When they fought each other it was an even power battle i think but the fact that Mosley has done it at a higher weight is the only evidence i can see that seperates them. Although i am not saying Cotto could not have the same impact at a higher weight Mosley has already done it.

I disagree, no disrespect here, I just think Shane cracks while Miguel thuds. Shane's got one punch power, which seems to be concussive at times. Miguel beats you down over the course of the fight.

          What you all think?

          No chance!

          Mosley is the harder hitter.

See Mosley vs Shannan Taylor,Adrian Stone,Fernando Vargas 2,Mayorga,Margarito.

You could say Cotto hits harder to the body, but i would not even say that, because Shane brutalized people early in his career with body punches.

Cotto probably sets his feet more to throw power punches more consistently.

saturday night shane was something i havent seen in a while.l.. on that night hes definitely a harder hitter then cotto... cotto seemed to be throwing quick arm punch combinations... but shane was really turning his torso and throwing everything into his punches.. plus cotto was retreating and going off his back foot when throwing punches, shane was lunging forward with that over hand right and those body shots... definitely shane for me

I've always known that Cotto has power. I've never seen Shane's punching power like that before. I always thought that he had more speed over power. Maybe it took Nazeem Richardson for Shane's power to come out.

But if i were to chose, i'd say Cotto has more power. Only because i've seen his fights with that type of power. If Mosely continues to exhibit this type of punching power, i'll sway toward Mosely.

Cotto IMO has a harder pop on his punches. Mosley's speed ties into his power, but he doesn't throw as accurate down the pipe as Cotto can.
