Neither fight was close, but Mosley/Margarito was more competitive. Oscar just looked hopeless every second of that fight.

This is actually a difficult Q, made that way by Amigorito at least being in the fight, to an extent. Some of the first six or seven rounds were, ISTR, reasonably close. I had it a shut out for Shane, but the odd one or two you could make a case for Amigorito nicking.

First off Mosely is a much bigger puncher than Pac so its just natural that his punches are going to inflict more damage than Manny's...Oscar and Margarito both got their asses handed to them, but at the end of the night if I had to choose I would have rather been Oscar...Margarito was getting blasted by a legitimate 147 lb fighter with heavy hands who has been all the way up to 154 and fought effectively there...

Margarito was stretched out and seperated from his senses...Oscar was totally frustrated and knew that there was no way he could overcome the speed and quickness of Pac...

The biggest difference is that Oscar's fight was stopped to save him the embarrasment of being shutout and completely frustrated by a smaller fighter and huge underdog...Margarito's fight was stopped in order to save his life...

IMO, Mosley vs Margarito... Mosley outclassed him like Pacquiao outclassed De La Hoya, however Mosley Knocked Down Margarito which is saying something due to Margarito's very impressive chin, Mosley shown his speed and power.

Not taking anything from Pacquiao's win though... they were both excellent fights!
