They wouldn't need to. They already make hundreds of thousands in $ just by doing "****** fancy tricks" to 10,000+ people in sold-out arenas every week. Whether it's ***** or not, they're still making more cash than most people on this board. I wouldn't say **** to someone who makes money that "easily" and gets a near-guaranteed broken neck at the end of their career.Comment

I was thinking the same thing after watching "The Wrestler" this weekend. Had that been a boxing movie i'd have probably thrown it right into my top 5 movies of all time. Conventional wisdom seems that wrestling fans should love boxing since it's actually real fighting and drama but.. WWE fans like the over the top fantasy type nonsense. It's actually a completely different thing despite the ropes and asskickings.I just wanna get sumin straight... i seen videos of people talking about how great a wrestler so and so was..
wrestling is fake as hell, how do so many americans ranging from kids to growups actauly like it and call it skill-full ? ... the matches are already fixed in place before they are over with regards to who is winning them
not to mention that steroid abuse is perfectly legal, also backing up the fact that it isnt a sport, its a ****** poser hobbie for *****s that cant actaully fight
this is coming from a non biased Uk resident, who loves boxing and ufc and many american boxers over uk boxers
i just dont understand the logic, someone explain why you would watch that ****Comment

i believe Brock Lesnar stepped in an mma octogon and now has the ufc heavyweight strap. Its garbage entertainment I don't watch it but when I was kid I loved Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate warriorYeh but its classed as a sport.. if its entertainment then put it on the comedy channel.
Years of steroid abuse in the gym got them where they are, and also leaves them with low test levels for life , no libido and depression not to mention liver failure etc etc
Fair enough if you watch it because you think its comedy to laugh at . but these " wrestlers " actaully have huge fan base's that belive they are gods in the ring.
its just not right . any injuries are caused by ****** fancy tricks which would never work in a real fight, in turn leaving people dead or injured for life for no reason what so ever
its an insult to people like muhamed ali who beilved in alot more then show ponny and money. A man who fought every fight like it was his last to make a living and trying to prove a point while doing it.
would love to see any wwe wwf wrestler step in the ring with any amature MMA, boxer, or local town hardman steroids or not , knockouts all around

however if they were to only show the hot female wrestlers - wrestling in a mud pit rather then a bouncy " stomp on the floor so it sounds like someone is getting leatherd across the face " canvas . then it would be watchable and respectableComment

I don't understand what you're mad at. I can't stand Nascar, but I'm not making threads about how wack it is. If you don't like it, don't watch it.I just wanna get sumin straight... i seen videos of people talking about how great a wrestler so and so was..

The thing with Pro Wrestling is it's really a male version of a soap opera. There's characters, storylines, cliffhangers, etc. In the early 70's and 80s though, calling it Entertainment got your ass kicked.
Example:
Nobody denies Pro Wrestling is scripted and choreographed, but don't get it twisted...those dudes put their bodies on the line every single night and in some cases have been permanently injured, paralyzed, and unfortunately have lost their lives. I can see why people would ridicule it if they were never into it, but I've been in a Pro Wrestling ring before and I can tell you that mat isn't as padded as you may think. It's only about 2 inches of padding the rest being consisted of plywood and springs. There's not that much give at all, so when you see them dudes getting slammed from the top rope, they are definitely feeling that.
Here's an example of the risk Wrestlers take:
I haved a huge amount of respect for Pro Wrestlers, but in no way do I put them along the same lines of being an MMA fighter or a Boxer. It's pointless. It's indeed entertainment, but they run just as much risk if not more than any athletes playing sports today.
Just my 2 cents...Comment

No clue, I never once found it even remotely entertaining. But apparently, it has a cult like following.I just wanna get sumin straight... i seen videos of people talking about how great a wrestler so and so was..
