Did Margarito return too soon after the Cotto fight???

Do you think it was too soon for Margarito to fight again, given that it was only six months prior that he defeated Miguel Cotto?? He received a heavy pounding in that brutal bout that left blood and sweat spattered across MGM Grand Garden Arena..

I was actually thinking he took too much time off. He should have rematched Golden Johnson between fights.

no.they both took a decent amount of time off.Cotto has said in an interview that it took him the same amount for his body to heal as in other fights which is about a month.

He took 6 months off, no more time was going to do him any good.

No the time was fine. 6 months isn't a short amount of time, but not to long either. I believe it was adequate time for him to recover.

I think you're right. But then folks say those two pounds came off when his plaster wraps were carted away for the investigation..
