Nate Campbell Ready, Ali Funeka Backed By Bungu

IBF/WBO lightweight champion Nate Campbell (32-5, 25KOs) is ready to make a statement when he meets IBF mandatory Ali Funeka (30-1, 25KOs) on February 14 at BankAtlantic in Sunrise, Florida. HBO will televise. Campbell fights for the first time since a decision win over previously undefeated Juan Diaz last March. He was due to fight Joan Guzman in September, but the fight was cancelled after Guzman was unable to make weight. [details]

I truly believe that the winner of this fight is the best LW in the world. I am picking Nate to win.

Funeka can straight up fight. VERY interested in this fight. I feel like Funeka could be the next talent of the leightweight division.

Campbell is no pushover obviously, so if Funeka can pull this off then he is instantly for real

I'm going with Fuenka on this one. He's pretty damn good and his height and reach is going to give Funeka major problems. This one will be pretty exciting and I think it'll be like Margarito-Williams.

People seriously! Ali Funeka is HUGE and the guy ain't no joke. I truly want Nate to win. I feel sorry for what happend to him and not landing the Guzman fight but I have a bad feelin Ali's gonna win. Not just based on size, but his speed and power. He also has a good defense.

i got Ali Funeka and the 40 thieves in this one. The guy is a beast with nice punching power. I think Campbells reign as the so called best LW in the world is over. I still cant figure how Campbell won one fight and is considered the Top Dog. Basically he had a good night against Diaz and the media blew it up like he was the one to track down all those Champions and beat them. At Best he is like Quintanna when he fought Williams at worst hes like Buster Douglas. Both their terms as champs was over in the next fight and i expect the same thing to happen to Nate. Hes a big talker and fun to listen to but Funeka should shut him up

                  Nate is the man.
From what I have seen of Funeka, he can crack like hell, and he is a huge Lightweight. Dangerous opponent, but I gotta go with my boy Campbell in this one.

Nate's got pop too. No one really mentions it, but I see it. I can see Funeka KO'ing Campbell but I can also see it the other way. Campbell isn't a joke and this fight will NOT be easy Funeka. Campbell knows if he loses any fight coming up within the next year he's out of the big picture. He ain't goin out unless he's goin out ****in.

From the Raheem fight, it looks like Funeka doesn't like inside at all.
