How good is Clottey

He is solid fighter with decent pop and a high guard, no outstanding weaknesses or strengths. I would call him well-rounded. The only problem is when he puts his hands up tight like that Cotto is gonna sweep a left hook just behind his elbow.

Clottey is the unsung champ at 147,outside of the Punisher,Clottey has the talent to beat Cotto or Mosley and definately beat Berto!!!I've got Clottey beating Cotto in june,because I think he is tougher,has a better jab,better defense!!If Clottey worked on being a little more offensive,he would own 147,hands down!!!

He ain't got any really big wins, but he's got the skills to threaten any WW. If he had a higher workrate/more stamina he'd really be lethal. I wanna see him face SSM. I'd pick Shane but give Clottey a good chance.

I don't really understand why he fights this way either. The guy loves to run..like 7 plus miles per day but in the ring, he seems to tire out. This is his only weakness- speed, defense, and combination punching are all excellent. He could beat any WW but he seems to come up short. Definitely one of the most skilled!!
