Cheating in boxing should be dealt with in the most serious way and with the harshest consequences. The reason I feel this way is because, in boxing like no other sport, a cheater is potentially hurting a man with the possibility of ending his health, carreer, or potentially his life. Boxing has a balance that has developed over time that allows for the top performers in the sport to understand the limits of the other guy to an extent, cheaters disrupt this balance. The sport is still developing, a long time ago I heard George Foreman sugest a head band that would protect the neurological sensitivity of a fighter, this to me seemed like a good idea.
cheating in other sports like basketball, baseball or football causes monetary damage for the most part, however in boxing the consequences are the worst.
on a side note: trainers, managers and promoters who go into contract with a kid at the begining of his carreer should sign an agreement to take care of the man if he should get damaged neurologically and phisically. just saying.Comment

That is actually not a steroid its blood doping but your right it is used for an increase in stamina.Roids can also give a fighter the mental edge, if he knows he took roids, he feels he is invincible, besides, there's different kinds of steroids that have different results. Not all just buff you up, some enhance your stamina, I think that's what Mosley used, where it raised your red blood cell count and allowed more oxygen in you.
Tour De France guys test for this and thats what a few of them have been caught with.Comment
