There appears to be a dispute over who really wants to unify the heavyweight division. On Monday, the Klitschko brothers, Wladimir and Vitali, claimed that promoters Don King and Wilfried Sauerland of Sauerland Event were preventing a potential unification bout with Nikolai Valuev. [details]

Don King is a virus in boxing. This is why I've personally stopped paying attention to belts now. I made that decision a few weeks ago, from now on I'm only gonna recognise the linear champ, where possible. Its not gonna have any affect on the sport or anyone else, but it's just something that I will follow. -

its probebly more Suaerland than Don King whos preventing the fight. Sauerland is well known for overprotecting their fighters and, in general, getting in the way of any meaningful fights.Comment

Only a fool would believe either Klit is afraid of Valuev. Valuev is a fraud and his promoters are fight fixing chumps.
