Why do you think he ran into the post head first? Because he was about to fall. if the post wasn't there he would've just gotten tangled up in the ropes and they would've held him up, or he would've fell to the ground. If Hatton wasn't hurt by the punch then there would've been no reason why he would put his head down, and head for the opposite direction of Mayweather...

You forgot to mention that he was 17 years old and 20 years old during that time.

Zero. That how many times Manny Pacquiao has been knocked out, since turning 21 years of age.

it's funny how tunney can excuse a 27-28 yr. old wladimir klitschko getting KTFO multiple times in his prime with about 40+ pro fights under his belt and an extensive amateur career but pacquiao can't be excused when his ko losses came at a young age , early in his career and with no amateur experience.

they should not have continued with the fight tbh.
Add to that, that getting ko'd about a body shot does not= Getting knocked out cold.

Unless Oscar De La Hoya was knocked out cold by bernard hopkins.

Tunney's understanding of 'Out cold' is Limited to his experiences in the suprermarket frozen food section.

Wladimir has never been counted out - his losses were by TKO not KO.

A 17 years old Pac is different from a seasoned 30 years old veteran Pac.

                      same **** , tun.

ko or tko. that means they got whooped.

whether the ref stops the beating to save the fighter from more damage , the corner does it or the ref counts to 10.

                      it's all the same.
