I could list more examples, but I only listed one. And if you read my post again, I said that there are many Americans who are genuinely nice people. But a lot of people I've met come across arrogant and ignorant.

I know there are plently of idiots living in Britain. Plenty of them. I see that everytime I go out on the weekend in Cardiff. I never once said that it was perfect living here. But you cannot accept that there is anything wrong with America. Poor at a particular sport? We dont like it, we don't play. An example of an idiot who is American? Must be an idiot. Exception to the rule.

Still more popular than over here. Of course big fights like Hatton vs Mayweather, Calzaghe vs Hopkins garner large amounts of attention, but most fights pass by under the radar.

I think it depends where you live, here in NYC there is PLENTY of people who are casual fans of boxing, that know the basics, a lot of people knew about the Mosley-Marg fight, about the Hopkins-Calzaghe fight, Cotto-Marg, you know, the big name fights.
