Cotto lost because of an awful fight plan...

Illegal wraps or not Cotto lost to Margarito because his corner had the wrong fight plan for him. The world knows that the way to beat Margarito is to make him go backwards, he can't fight going back, he only knows to seek and destroy coming forward.

Evangelista and the rest of Cotto's corner for some reason viewed Margarito as this monster that couldn't be KO'd so they designed a flight plan that had Cotto boxing, moving and on his backfoot all night. When they should have let Cotto take the fight to Margarito and let Cotto be the one bullying Margarito to the ropes.

Cotto has much bigger shoulders and back than Mosley so there is no doubt that he could have push Margarito back all night long like Mosley was doing, his corner failed him.

Props to ****m Richardson for coming up with the right game plan!!!

People talk, and talk what a fighter should've done when in fact it is very much different when your actually in the ring. Cotto was doing everything right, he just wasn't conditioned properly.

Cotto did have a ****ty game-plan but I think he would have still won if it had not been for those possible plastered hand-wraps of marg. Marg fans shouldn't be upset that I say possible, because that **** Marg brought it on himself trying to cheat against Mosley so the logical view-point would be that he has done this in the past aswell. Especially against someone as talented as cotto.

Cotto lost coz Marg had Loaded Gloves, Cotto lost coz of his nose injury and Cotto lost coz Marg fought a hell of a fight!

All he needs to do is throw in the odd clinch and he's golden

thought Cotto had the right idea and only needed to clinch more but in light of the Mosley fight i may have been wrong! He should definatley still tie em up from time to time like Shane did tho

Cotto fought the wrong fight, he shoulda jabbed more and moved, but for some reason he got caught up in the ropes.Or went backward and stood still...

Cotto dont need to clinch, what boxingconfidental says clinch? Thats a ****** idea he could beat him boxing and moving, he dont need to clinch he just has to stay balanced and throw good jabs and try out boxing this guy instead of giving him free shiots while he lays on the ropes trying to look like Mayweather.

Its not a ****** idea, he gives him self a quick breather by clinching and he will need to if he gonna be moving all night off the backfoot plus it will mess Margs rythem up and stop him getting in his groove, Shane Fought him and he still used Clinches well not long boring clinches just enough to stifle his attacks and mess his rythem up

What ever Cotto decides to do i think he should do a little bit of Clinching

More long jabs and plz more body work, Miguel kept going to the head. Mosley was doing good body work, I think Cotto can do without the cinching, he has all the tools he just didnt use them he taught Margarito was Torres but in reality these Mexicans dont play there it to win it.
