******. Who cares about this fight right now, other than people who just want to see Margarito exposed? Cotto-Mosley 2 is the fight that needs to happen.

If Cotto beats Margarito it will be nothing special. So What? He'll have beaten a guy that was softened up and ruined by Shane. Cotto is still overrated, either way you look at it.

I don't like Margarito taking this fight. I truly believe that he needs a rest from the heavy hitters in the welterweight division. He needs to take a good rest, fight a tune up to get his body and confidence going again. Then maybe take a Cotto rematch if it can be worked out. I also think that Margarito needs to work on his defense. He got hit alot between both Cotto and Mosley fights. He can't afford to keep taking that many shots in his career, no matter how great of a chin he has. He needs to change up his style a bit or else I fear he may have the same fate as my most favorite fighter of all time Fernando Vargas.

Totally agree with you, I think the only way Cotto ( pending the result of his upcoming fight) accepts the fight if he still has that itch to avenge the only loss of his career. I disagree with you on Cotto vs Mosley II. I believe Cotto did in fact win the Mosley fight. However, it was very close. And now you have to take into account on Mosley's confidence and new trainer. Mosley has a great deal of confidence now that he gave Margarito his first knock out of his career and his new trainer has brought new life into Mosley's career.

The way i see there were cotto fan's he failed as welterweight king. Marg failed at his attempt. shane is old and juiced. Paul fight's in other division's. None of them are the complete package they all have there flaws and strengths. Cotto beat shane williams beat marg quintana beat williams marg beat cotto. marge loses to shane the cylce starts up again

Margs wants the fight. And you're right Arum don't give a **** about Margarito if he did he'd get a rematch with Mosley. Have a ref that won't allow Mosley to hold and Margs wins of course he'd also have to have a plan for the body shots but i see Margs winning a rematch which will probably never happen. But i belive he'll beat Cotto again. I was down on Margarito after the fight having seen it on the computer is not the same as seeing it on tv and as a Margarito fan i'am satisfied with his performance knowing it was Mosleys body punching and excessive holding that won him the fight against Margarito. Just take the holding away and its a different fight. And funny how Mosley fans say holding is part of boxing, but with excessiveness as Mosley used. To summerize Arum don't care about Margarito but Margarito want's that Cotto payday.

Why we are taking away everything from Shane why dont we just take his arms and legs too..LOL.. He just beat a mediocre fighter (Margs) who made his fame off beating an inexperienced boxer in Cotto who didnt know when to hold.

But you can't say Cotto isn't capable of doing that. If Cotto clinched a lot and tried to rough Tony up like that I'm sure he could. Mosley wasn't manhandling Cotto like that. Cotto just doesn't do that, it's not his style. He needs to make it his style though.

And about the punches, you can make the case that Mosley is a harder puncher, but it's hard to base it on the Tony fight because Mosley had everything behind his blows while Cotto was always going backwards.

I also tought Mosley headbutted Margarito a few times.

200k that you were high when you wrote that post about margarito winning by decision! margarito will never win by decision the mofo has no defense cant box for **** as far as im concerned his only defense was his granit chin and we all saw how it came tumbling down. Marg will never recover from that Knock out and will get K.o'ed by Miguel this time around especially since he wont have the honor of wearing his iilegal wraps!

Even when Cotto was hitting him with clean shots he wasnt effective. He will walk through him again...
