You guys can't actually believe a professional boxer who has been fighting since the tender age of 15 doesn't know who or what his hands are being wrapped with. You can't be that gullible!

I like how Richardson didn't just blame Margarito because like he said, Tony may not have even known that this **** was happening. At least he's giving him the benefit of the doubt. I'd like to believe that Tony wasn't doing this to try to cheat but it certainly looks really bad. I don't really see how they can get to the bottom of this though. It's impossible to prove if Margarito was doing this on purpose.

You know, that's really good point. I'm not even really a Margarito fan but I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt. You are probably right though. He probably knew exactly what was going on.

what if tony wants to undo his gloves right after a fight, in the ring - wouldn't you want your fighter to not expose you?

this is why I question them being plaster at all. CSAC was in there when the first hand was wrapped they didnt see a problem til Richardson who is KNOWN for having guys re wrap, said hey this is too hard.. Margaritos hands wer gonna be re wrapped no matter what before that fight. Im pretty sure of it.

Until I see a verdict from the CSAC on if it was actual "plaster" then Im not buying it..

The controversy over the hand wraps of Antonio Margarito is getting ugly. As most know by now, prior to last Saturday's bout with Shane Mosley at Staples Center in Los Angeles, two "plaster-like" blocks were found under Margarito's hand wraps by an inspector for the California State Athletic Commission. That's part of the boxing game. I ain't hatin on Margo for pullin something like that.

It's actually the other camp's responsibility to check on the wraps. Every trainer has the God given right to watch their opponent wrap their hands. So good job for Nazeem for catchin it.

If Margo's gotten away with it in the past, you really can't put that on Margo's camp.

it still have to be something fishy if margaritos manger starts making a fuss about it so something is going on here.
