What do you think would be more dangerous,

getting hit by a 8oz/10oz professional fight glove, with a bare fist inside the glove,

    or

    wrapped hands under the gloves.

Handwraps are to protect your hands not to add weight to punches.

the handwrap itself doesn't make much of a difference unless it is padded with heavy material. if anything wrapping your hands softens the blow a little bit I believe.
certain ways of wrapping hands like layering with tape will harden the blow though..
then when you use plaster.. your hands are some deadly ass weapons.
I wouldn't recommend fighting without wraps though.. you are gonna more then likely brake your hand.

                    hmmm...

but, what about no handwraps, would it be more damaging getting hit when the knuckles aren't wrapped at all? I would think yes, but the chances of hand injury would rise high.
