Wow, was anyone else at the fight on saturday? I've been to several fights and I was shocked at the atmosphere for margarito/mosley. I've never seen Staples center so packed and have never heard it so loud in there (not even Lakers games). I was rooting for Marg and its a shame he lost, all props to Mosley though. Anyways, I was thinking..... it's obvious that mexican/hispanic fans carried this fight (as far as attendance goes) and I'm wondering if there's anyone else out there that you guys foresee being a huge draw and selling out an arena in LA.
Staples center on saturday, incredible atmostphere.

lol, I was thinking the same thing. I think that's why he kept smiling....he was embarrassed! Even after the knockdown he just had this look on his face like some kid just pulled down his pants in front of the entire class while he was making his big speech. kinda feel bad for the guy, but the cheating thing really prevents me for giving a ****Comment

yup, i was there. what a great night. i drove from las vegas to see it. here's my footage of round 9:
like i said in another post, i was really rooting for shane, but i thought marg would win. since we were surrounded by mexicans (again, just like the williams/marg fight), we rooted for margarito, lol. it was fun. the mexicans by us were dead silent. damn.Last edited by boxingsmash69; 01-26-2009, 01:45 PM.Comment

Sounded like an exciting atmosphere, better then some of the dead crowds we get to see every now and then.Comment
