marg was out on his feet in the 8th. it was obvious he was going to get stopped, his corner suggested to stop the fight, he refused and pretty much escorted himself to the death squad.
whether or not he tried to cheat, you can't question this man's heart and balls.
damn you, team margaritoComment

But I mean he was out on his feet the fight should have been stopped. I wouldn't have called him a ***** if he didn't answer the bell for the 9th ya know?
He put himself in some serious danger, I don't always think that's good.
All the heart in the world doesn't mean you can't make ****** decisions. Going out for the 9th round was a ****** decision, he took a senseless beating so he could call himself a "warrior". Seems contrived and desperate to me.Comment

Honestly after he was accused of cheating and the fact the Mexican fans gave Cotto and his fans so much ish for him taking a knee for Margarito to stay on his stool when the bell rung and his corner to call off the fight would have been the Cherry on top of what was a very embarassing night for him and his fans. He had no chice but to come out of his career would be in the toilet if it isnt already it surely would have if he had quit on his stool....LeftyComment

I respect his heart no doubt, but I don't like seeing senseless beatings ya know? I just think the whole "warrior" thing gets over done a little bit sometimes. Tony was DONE, there was no shame in not coming out. He came out and got killed, those were unnecessary bombs he took.Comment
