Tyson Fury Eyes Sam Sexton, Danny O'Connor Returns

Unbeaten heavyweight phenomenon Tyson Fury has already set his sights on the man he hopes will be his next opponent. The 6 feet 8 ˝ inch 20 year old is scheduled for his third pro fight in Norwich on February 28th when he appears on the undercard of local hero, Jon Thaxton’s first defence of his European Lightweight title. Oh dear.. the hype machine pumping up way too early again. "Unbeaten heavyweight phenomenon" after two fights?! Well, I suppose 'unbeaten' is correct. You do wonder how much publicity the lad would be getting were he called 'Fred Smith', though.

Tyson Fury does show promise, but it will be three or years before he makes a real splash IMHO (if he ever does)... he's 'Tyson' not TYSON. He has a lot to learn and needs to work on his physique as well both for power and stamina. Come back if he's still 15 and 0, folks.

I heard Tyson Fury was the British Tye Fields, but having seen him in his second fight, he looks a decent prospect. He looked in much better shape than his first fight and he had all the right fundamentals. Good quick jab, nice bodywork and a solid set of hooks/uppercuts. He could be in even better shape and his power could do with working on, but both can come as a result of more professional training. Unclear how he'll do. His fundamentals are already better than the fundamentals Fields has.
