Klitschkos Claim Promoters are Hiding Nikolai Valuev

The goal for the Klitschko brothers, Wladimir and Vitali, is to unify the entire heavyweight division. They are nearly at the point of reaching that goal. Wladimir holds the WBO/IBF versions of the heavyweight title, while older brother Vitali claimed the WBC belt from Vitali last October. The only remaining title, from the WBA, is held by seven-foot Nikolai Valuev. The Klitschkos claim that Valuev's co-promoters, Don King and Wilfried Sauerland of Sauerland Event, are preventing the fight from taking place. [details]

Chagaev needs to get that belt back asap. Valuev shouldn't even be a belt holder it should be Holyfield.

The point of Valuev being protected from the klitschkos is mute because i personally feel he won't get past Chagaev, im surprised i haven't heard many other names after Valuev the likes of Povetkin, Haye , Arreola all three would proberly win this fight as well and give and prospective fight with either one of the klitschkos much better drawing power. with another title on the line, if valuev though some how gets past Chagaev i dont know if he has another mandatory after this but i personally wouldn't be to surprised if Ruiz get another shot at him because of their Don king connection which will be another horrible fight no one wants to see,

            50:50 is fair.

Wladimir wants to unify. He wants to fight Maskaev in 2006, and he called out Valuev before Valuev lost to Chagaev.

It would be a huge pay day for Valuev.

It is a shame for all boxing fans, that this fight did not happend before Valuev lost to Chagaev and Holyfield!

Wlad vs. Valuev would make a lot of money in Europe, so why not?

Sauerland and Don King are indeed protecting Valuev from the Klitschkos, they don't want to see their big man get knocked out by a real champion.

****** fight. No one but the hardcore Klit fans want to see such a wasteful fight. Those fans would love to see Klitchko V Zelly tho. Fight a real fighter, not a sideshow.
