I think Cotto is, but we'll have to wait and see. I think if Cotto wins the Margarito rematch, he needs to rematch Mosley to straighten this whole thing out.

cotto is best without a doubt

Lets think for a second...cotto beat mosely and mosely beat margo...margo and cotto had a close and grueling fight and automatically mosely is number one?...i like both mosely and cotto and it doesnt make sense to me...i think cotto wins the margo rematch then shane and berto should fiht and the winner gets cotto to see whos numbr one

Not sure where Clottey factors in but I think Cotto would beat Mosley again. Mosley would beat Margarito would beat Margarito again. Everyone mentioned loses to someone in the equation. It's just a solid division.

Right, Im scratching my head at this one, how did Margo beat Cotto, boggles my mind, Mosley made it look easy and in the Cotto fight Margo looked like he could walk on water, yet the Cotto-Mosley match was even. HMMM
