Mosley looked like a completely different fighter from the Mayorga fight. Why?

What are the reasons behind Mosley looking incredible against Margarito, but looking so **** and slow against Mayorga?

Was it a change in trainer? Or are there other reasons behind it?

whoa there that reply was alittle bit extreme dont you think? anyway im going with mayorga making it an ugly fight. in my opinion, the weight didnt look like it made too much a difference. he came in about the same weight fight night on both fights

Suppose, ent no way of showing you. But you just gotta take my word for it.

Back on the topic, was ****m Richardson the main reason why he won? He looked far more sharper than the Mayorga fight and he had incredible speed too.

I watched a pre fight interview with ****m Richardson, he said guys like Bernard and Shane are students of boxing. He said a 43 year old Bernard would kill a 20-25 year old Bernard. He said a 20 year old Roy Jones Jr would kill a 38 year old RJJ. He said guys like Shane and Bernard get stronger and wiser as they grow older.

Exactly what I was going to say 147 is Mosley's best weight. Plus he just finakized his divorce so who knows what was going on back then maybe he was more distracted then and more focused now....Lefty

I think he was ready for judah and motivated to fight him last fight taking on Mayorga instead was a let down for him and he fought at 154 he has always looked better at 147.....Lefty

If this is true friend then you asked a question that you should already know the answer too. You should know about the fire inside and the butterflys you should know how it feels to be readt for the fight of your life and to fight for your life. For Shane this is also a business and for some it is business first. I think Saturday night for Shane it was Boxing first and a business second. People ask why ODLH lost so badily well for him it is business first and Boxing second. You can't put boxing second if you are the fighter. Let you promoters and managers handle the business you handle the boxing. Against mayorga Shane was clearly not motivated he looked like oh well I am here and I wish i was fighting Margarito or Cotto or someone with a pulse who doesnt smoke and drink before a fight. In the last half of the fight Shane pressed the action and eventually got the KO......Lefty

Yes very true... He just looked that extra bit more sharper and hungry. After the first 4 rounds i was like, can he hold this relentlesness for 12 rounds. And yes, he could have.

Incredible. This is the same thing i said about Hopkins. He looked more determined when he came into the Pavlik fight than when he came into the Calzaghe fight. He looked a lot more focused.
