Arum says Margarito vs. Cotto will go ahead

Bob Arum said in an interview on the boxing talk website that Margarito vs. Cotto is on for this summer. He also said Mosley may fight Floyd.

Bob Arum: "The Cotto-Margarito fight is going to be big, Shane Mosley might end up fighting Mayweather, that would be a big fight. Boxing is alive and well."

So did Mosley effectively expose the way for Miguel Cotto to dominate Antonio Margarito? There was a thread showing how Shane had said he showed Margarito how to defeat Cotto. So I quess this will comeback to Cotto having to rematch Mosley at the end of the year. Than next year winner fights Pacman? Or unless Mosley gets Pacman....

I doubt margarito can continue to take the punishment he got from cotto last time, how much can he have left after his last 2 fights?

I don't have a problem with the fight going on as planned...IMO the events of this past weekend might even aid interest in a Cotto-Margarito rematch...The general consensus about the rematch prior to this weekend was that Cotto was probably making a mistake and would be dealt the same treatment the second time around as he was the first...

Now I think those opinions are being revisited in light of Margarito's KO loss...Perhaps Cotto could employ some of the same tactics as Mosely and reverse the outcome of his first fight with Margarito...

Miguel lost to a bum. He has to dominate him, if it was up to me I'll have them fight a 3rd time, I cant get over his loss to Margarito, why Margarito? Why "peeleft:

Not a bad idea,, as it gives Cotto a chance for redemption in light of the recent allegations.
