I wouldnt be totally shocked if we did but I say no way. My reasoning is that Arum promotes both guys so sure enough the fight is easy enough to make. Margarito will obviously want it so he can get right back in the mix and Cotto may want it to avenge his loss and he probably see's Margarito as a wounded duck right now.
The problem is that Arum isnt dumb. He knows that if they fight eachother right now then someone has to lose and that would be horrible for him and that fighter. If Margarito loses to Cotto right now then he looks like one of the biggest jokes in the history of boxing after everyone had hyped him up. If Cotto loses then his career might as well be over and Ill doubt if he'll ever recover. You also have the fact that Arum will always have this fight in his back pocket if things go wrong so its not like he needs it. I think Arum will instead try super hard to get the Mosley-Cotto rematch while getting Margarito another instant title shot against Clottey who wants big fights, big money, and wants to avenge his loss. Cotto certainly wouldnt be upset at it.
Margarito wouldnt be happy since the Clottey fight would be for alot less money then a Cotto fight but it atleast gives him the chance to get the title right back. Make these 2 fights happened, Now. However, if Mosley decides to go to Floyd then that could change things alot because if Cotto cant get Mosley or Pac then I think he would rather have Margarito way more then any other fight out there.
