Come on man, this is gonna get beat to death. It's possible, I wouldn't be shocked, those are awfully big allegations when we really have no way to tell.

If we're using this incident of illegal wraps to question every big win in Margarito's career (not unreasonable), then we have to do the same for Mosley. I like both fighters, and I'm sure Sugar Shane's a great guy, but the fact is, they've both been busted for cheating once (assuming the info about Marg's wraps isn't resolved some other way). You can't grant one the benefit of the doubt and not the other.

The topic will be beaten to death until there is some sort of resolve or ruling on it. I just made this thread because I want to know where everybody stands on the matter. I see a lot of people who are saying "innocent until proven guilty" which is completely reasonable but you can't deny how shady things look. Especially after how seemingly unaffected Mosley was by the three or four punches Margarito managed to land. How could he bust dudes ear, break Cotto's nose, Clotteys hand becomes suspect also but not really and then from one day to the next become a pitter pat puncher? Dude was a glorified bomb dropper hand of God thunder smacking demon, now nothing. So I made this thread to see where people stand either absolutely yes, not at all or probably. So far you can see the result. Not too many people honestly believe that 44 fights into your career you'd start doing something like this. Sure what we believe here on Boxing Scene won't affect the outcome of it and I doubt they'll overturn Cotto's L to Margarito but its just good to know what is and isn't agreed upon.
