First post, but how about this one? Prescott hasn't done anything noteworthy except nail Khan (for which there should be a rematch if Khan squeezes past Barrera) and gain seemingly a false aura of notoriety for his KOs.
I've seen the fight he had with Abril and, although I had him winning by a tiny margin, there was literally nothing that impressed me about him. He had no jab, looked tentative as anything, and the decision was a boring one. Something about the guy just makes me dislike him to no end (and not only because of the Khan win, since I actually like the Bolton lad).
I reckon once he gets past whatever nobodies he's faced with, he should face Katsidis (who'll probably get past Ramirez with relative ease) and get totally brutalised by him. I mean totally obliterated. You know he wouldn't be able to do anything against a guy who practically basks in the possibility - hell, certainty - of getting viciously cut in every fight he's in.
Then Kats could face the winner of Khan-Barrera, who could then go onto a lightweight megafight with the winner of Marquez-Diaz. Winner of that should be a nutcase and move up to 140 and get stuck in. And since Kats has been at 140 before, he could feel right at home with his Hatton-like style.
Good madness either way.
