Im so thankful that Margarito got beat down and schooled so bad Saturday night. His hype was getting so out of hand that thousands of people who no NOTHING about boxing were hyping him out to be some kind of boxing god mexican warrior??? Biotch please he has very limited skills, technique, talent as a fighter.
He's notoriously known for starting slow to the point of losing every single round of the fight for the first half or so waiting for his illegal handwraps to get wet and moiste enough to take affect to become hard plastered bricks to hurt his opponents in the later rounds.
He was getting schooled by Cotto for the first half of the fight till his illegal handwraps got moiste enough to turn into plaster like bricks so he could do real damage to Cotto. Plus Cotto's loss to Margarito was more so Cottos fault then Margarito actually doing good. Meaning Cotto fought Margarito in a manner which was not himself. Cotto went off completely from his game plan. You did not see one Signature Left Hook to the body not even once. In fact the left hook was barely even thrown that night?
Again statistically Sat night was the biggest attendance in Staples Center history, more people attended that than any Laker game or Concert, which means that shows how igornant people are to actually buy into the false hype of a fighter. But whose to blame the media? The promoters? Why did so many people become so interested in this ordinary Journey man?
He's ugly, he has a wack 80's hair cut with his rat tail and all. He has no charm no personality.
I suggest that you should all not be so naieve next time the media and promoters hype someone up so much.
Hopefully all these ignorant naieve fans can invest their money towards true mexican warriors such as Juan Manuel Marquez and his brother Rafael Marquez or Jorge Arce, or Israel Vasquez, Juan Diaz, etc even Chris Arroyo deserves more love than Margarito.
So again hopefully Margarito disappears into Journey Man land where he always belonged.
