The welterweight division is arguably the most exciting and has an interesting cast of characters. The only complaint I have is that it seems like there's not alot of up-and-coming talent (besides Berto) entering the ranks

I'd say the division is THAT good and competitive.

This is a division that is JAM-PACKED with top quality fighters...from the excellent boxers like mosley, cotto, and even maybe mayweather (if he really returns) to the sluggers like margarito and quintana its jam packed...

Over the past few years the most memorable fights for me at least have been the top welterweights going at it...very good division and every time i think we have one solid fighter reigning at the top someone comes along and bumps him off...very competitive division.

Thats what happens when the top guys face each other. Thats why all the ATG fighters have losses on their record. If you retire with a 0 you werent fightin the top guys.

          I love it.

I see nothing wrong with it.

I like the anything can happen nature of this division.

It's deep and shows the old axiom that anything can happen, and probably will.
