    Shane Mosley & Bernard Hopkins

Not to take anything away from their achievements but surely this is bad for boxing?

Pacquaio and Mayweather aside; Is the talent of today on par with the greats of Old?

Mosley and Hopkins are legends, and have kept themselves in shape, their experience and ringcraft has seen them through.

As devastating as Mosley was last night, Margaritio was amatuer like in his performance.

I agree it's sad how the younger generations of fighters are getting wiped out

Personally, I think the older guys are great for the game. Boxing wouldn't be nearly as fun without people like Hopkins and Mosley. You can't blame them for being too good. It's not their fault the younger fighters can't beat them. It's going to be a sad day for boxing when the executioner retires.

Well the guys who are still good at what they do should continue to do it. I wanna watch the best, and if the best is 43 years old, so be it.
Also, seems like the young pups can gain some valuable experience by facing the vets. Perhaps we are all (fans and fighters) a little to obsessed with perfect records. In all honesty, most of the time a loss can make a fighter so much better.

It's just the shot fighters that damage the sport. No one wants to see Roy Jones take another punch to the head.

I don't think it's bad for boxing. I'd prefer to know the truth. If some of these younger guys can't hang with some of the older legends then I want to know about it rather than living in ignorance about about their talent.
