Dangerous fight for Floyd jus jumpin outta retirement to fight Shane. Its a tossup IMO. Shane's prolly sharper and has the faster hands rite now. Floyd's reflexes are better tho and has better D.

But before all that the fight has to be made which unfortunantely I don't see happening.

hey prophet, I have read your "gut feeling" before, I am with you on this one too......

Well I ainy say Floyd deserved it but at this point Floyd can make fights(like Oscar) off of his name alone. People know fighting Floyd puts $ in their pockets. Trust me I thought he shudda fought Cotto.

I don't take nothing away from Floyd because he did had 4 big wins in his career, Corales, Judah, Oscar and Hatton and fighters he avoid because their name or maybe because of fear Cotto, Mosley, Margarito and Williams I think that Margarito had little chance with Floyd but the rest out there hum! If he ins ted of retiring had wins over at least 3 out of the four, then I think the title of being the best in the wold will fit but because he left because he was tired and there was no money in those fights, is only fear of loosing I understand Floyd I think I will do the same if I was him Ill be very afraid.....

Mayweather is not on Moselys, Cotto or Pacquaio's level.
Floyd is a great fighter but not at welterweight. He knows it to so he retired.

Can we please lay to rest this talk of Mayweather avoiding Margarito? There was no way that Tony could beat Floyd. Lil Floyd would have boxed circles around him for 12 rounds easily and Tony couldn't do anything about it. Also, as much as I love PWilliams, he still makes some amateurish mistakes that Floyd would capitalize on. Mosley would be a tough match, but Shane has avoided the fight for so that I am not sure if he could pull it out. I believe that Cotto is the only one with the style to possibly beat Floyd imo, but we have to see how he returns from the beating against Margarito.

Floyd is chicken ****! There's no way he's gonna fight Mosley. Even though how much the guaranteed purse that will Floyd get.

So, since Margarito lost to Shane... Floyd magically didn't avoid Margarito and Cotto and pretty much every top welterweight since 2006 and would rather retire then be faced with the bombardment of questions. Why do you guys try to justify the Floyd's unwillingness to face top welterweights?
