I am a huge pbf fan but I wouldn't be as confident in this bout. But then again I dont think pbf would be a sitting duck for power shots all night like that limited stiff we saw last night! Its a fight we deserve to see.

yo....somebody pull up that 2009 predictions thread.....ya boy SekondzOut boldly predicted Mosley vs Mayweather this year! I felt Shane would upset Tony then he and Floyd would make the fight happen.....they BOTH wanted it in 2008 but Shane lost to Cotto so Floyd retired after the Hatton fight because his WISH opponent was Shane.......if you notice after the Hatton fight, Larry Merchant shot some names and Cotto's was one but Floyd shot one name that Larry failed to mention and that was Shane Mosley!! I saw this fight happenin' long ago.....I knew it would happen one day because one of boxing's best kept secrets is......Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather Jr. wanna fight each other BADLY!!!!

i was going to write a thread about this. but i agree with you. mosley is the only fight right now floyd has as you stated. he has no other fight unless agian like you said waits for the other fights to end. but what would fighting say marg do for floyd when shane beat him down easily. he already beat down hatton and will do so again. so what other fight is there. we talked about a tune up for may and if it was ok for him to have one. well if he wants the winner of pac and hatton than i think shane deserves this fight.
