  • The Time Your Fighter Lost that Devastated You.

I remember it like yesterday... I was 21 years old. It was my first boxing event ever live. It was in Vegas April 7 2001. I saved up my money and paid $600.00 for this event. I had good seats but in front of my sat 2 huge men that pissed me off. When I noticed who they where I was excited. They were the Klitchko Brothers before they where really wll known. I got my autographs from them and I was super hyped up for this fight. Prince Naseem Hamed vs Marco Antonio Barrera. I was screaming at the top of my lungs. The adrenaline rush was like nothing I felt in my life. I hear those famous words that I was yelling out at the top of my lungs.... LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE. The fight started.. I was hoping for an all out war and my fighter got outsmarted for most of the fight. Even in round 12 I was praying for a crazy KO from the prince but it didn't happen. I was so dissapointed. I paid $600.00 for the fight, spent $2000.00 on the vegas trip. Came back to hear it from all my Mexican buddies about how my boy got his ass beat. That day is still the worst day in my boxing fan days and it haunts me till this day.

Is that How yesterday felt for all the Margarito Fans?

What was the most crushing loss as a fan that haunted you?

I've never been so attached to a fighter that it "devastated" me.

No I am a decent shape, NBA fan, Occasional Drinker *********** fan who respects all national anthems. Your stereo type is hillarious.

i have to go with manny beating erik the 2nd and 3rd time. Just seeing erik look like a skeleton and keep getting dropped really saddened me. He was passed his prime and it was to hard for him to make that weight especially the 3rd time. He was someone i admired so much growing up. Tony beating Cotto was really upsetting especially knowing cotto took a horrible beating by a cheater
