That could of certainly come into play just as being caught with the illegal handwraps. It could have been a combination of things or combinations from Mosley or all of the above.

But in my book any fighter who intentionally does anything illegal to gain the upperhand against his opponent loses total crediblity with me. That being said Mosley is not free of criticism for the BALCO controversy either. Should we just look past this and just assume it didn't come into play because supposedly it took place a few years ago?
