Who here has lost respect for Margarito?

Wrapping his hands up illegally. I'm strongly against that it's just plain cheating. I originally thought he would beat Mosley but i was proved wrong last night. Great performance from Shane and a huge let down from Antonio.

not yet, i'll wait for more details first.

give the fighter the benefit of the doubt in these situations, if it's true i will have though.

No, I just lost respect for the fans, and HBO for hyping someone who has very little skills, and that ruins the sport of boxing. Margarito has no defense what so ever. You just don't get hit like that when your considered a championship caliber boxer.

the thing about boxing, is it is just that, BOXING!

Margarito is a FIGHTER, he just comes forward and does not know about defense or the pride to take a step back or the ability to adapt.

I like the guy, he makes for good matches against other come forward fighters, but was never blown away with him because of the above

I think it's pathetic. There's always 2 sides to every story but they uncovered it in 1 glove & found another in the room. It obviously was planned, and as far as I'm concerned there isn't much that can be said to explain this.

IMO this is possible vindication for Cotto (though I'm not a fan of Cotto's) because we now have to question Margarito's wraps in past fights

I still respect the guy. He was badly hurt and still came out for the round, facing the inevitable stoppage he had coming. That's a hard thing to do, especially with your corner saying you're not alright to your face. His boxing skills are limited, but at the end of the day he's still a competitive and entertaining boxer. To me at least.

The plaster issues. Well, I'd like to see more details on that. This is boxing after all, they're no small fries in the league of hyping mundane things. Not saying that's how it is, but still. I'm not hopping on this "cheater!" bandwagon just yet.

He's come along way, but this issue will taint his accomplishments if it's absolutely true.

I agree that an investigation should be forthcoming, if it hasn't already,
                  before jumping to conclusions.

One thing's for sure, both fighters have been involved in cheating scandals.

                  Doesn't help either case.

I was really disappointed to hear that his hands were wrapped illegally.
