For Cotto to win in the rematch?

Three things that Mosley had goin' all night, First, great eye by ****m for catching the cheating f**ks, excellent timing with the right straight punch, and intelligent clinching.

Everyone that has been in the ring with Margarita have had one consistent statement, it's how heavy Margarita's hands are, hmm, now we know why opponents say he has heavy hands.

Now, for Cotto, how important would it be for Cotto to develop a right straight? Cotto actually doesn't have to change much in his preparation for Margarita, he needs to really focus on counter-punching and clinching.

I created the thread to find out if you guys think that Cotto should model his gameplan after Mosley's for his rematch against Margarita, lets not let the wrapping issue screw up the discussion with what this thread is about.

He should do what he did in the first fight minus the unneccessary movement and with more clinching, do what Mosley did, use his jab to keep Margarito off rhythm and tie him up when he gets close, only use sustained movement to get off the ropes, whenever he feels his back on the ropes, get out of there by moving or clinching, which is exactly what Mosley did. And if Margarito's chin is cracked, Cotto can maybe knock Margarito out considering how many flush bombs he landed in their first fight.

Uhh basically don't let the slow Margarito land punches? I mean if a 37 year old Mosley can avoid them, then shouldn't a prime Cotto be able to do so? That is, if he's even half as good as his fans claim he is.

Its all about clinching and staying off the ropes, you will see that tactic working against Margarito time after time. If he doesn't get suspended that is...

Cotto should not take a rematch imo. I feel very bad for Cotto who went out there and put on a great performance. I can't, nor anyone else can, say for certain that there was any foul play in their first meeting, but to not think it now, is ludacris. I think Williams did it best, keep a stiff jab in his face all the while winning rounds utilizing speed and the ring.
