Other fighters for all we know could show affects later in life from this if he cheated prior, this just isnt needed in a sport that is not thought to be pure already. Not to mention the paydays other fighters could have lost because they lost to the guy. Cotto's family had to witness something they probably otherwise wouldnt have.

But not a unified commission which would prevent a fighter from being able to preform in any event. If he were to be suspended in California, he would still have 50 other states he could fight in, "slappy".

I think it's safe to say that he got what he deserved at the end of round 8 and into round 9. ****, he was punished for the entire fight.
