Thats what he is known for, giving up early rounds waiting for the plaster of paris to harden. He came on strong against Paul Williams, Cotto, and Clottey. Hmm.
No Wonder Margarito Was Late Starter

as far as i'm concerned he did it against every fighter he has ever fought, he just hasn't got caught until now because the other boxing trainers didn't know what to look for. He cheated against Williams, Cotto, and Clottey. Williams was the only one lucky enough to get out of there with a win against the cheater. Clottey probably broke his hands on the gloves on margs hard plastered wrapping.Comment

Hmm.. nothing. Look at how he fought Margarito. He bullied the f u c k out of him and didn't sneeze at his body defense like Cotto did. Shane made the entire welter division look ***** made.Comment

I have no doubt in my mind he did it against Cotto. Why would he just start now, all of a sudden? And look at Cotto's face in that fight, Tony was grazing with a lot of his punches, but it looked like he'd went 15 rounds with Julian Jackson.Comment

As far as MY OPINION..I think he did..
in this fight I heard he came in a 4:1 favorite..and he was tryin to plaster his ****..
In the Cotto fight..he was a 2:1 underdog...he had more to prove and knew he had to do whatever it took to win his first Big PPV...makes sense that he did to me!Comment
