Im Sick Of Hearing All This Cotto Crap!!

Please. There are a million threads on here talking about how Cotto took it out of him. All you Cotto/Margarito fans are the same. You want to take all the credit from the other boxers and just give it to those 2 guys. The media is the same way. What did Cotto take out of Margarito? Again, the Cotto fight wasnt different then any other fight. Margarito was hit with a ton of clean shots against Williams, Cintron, Clottey, Santos, and so on. We talked about this last week. Everyone was overrating Cotto's performance. I said then that Cotto fought well but it wasnt anything special like people are making it out to be. I said that Margarito just has horrible D and is slow as a mummy so any good boxer can do that kind of stuff to him and I thought Shane would do that tonight. Thats not saying your going to win because he still keeps applying pressure but your going to hit him clean all day if you have skill. Also, after the Cotto fight I said that Margarito's chin was overrated because when guys fight him they are always on the move.

Both Cotto & Cintron have mad power but there never commiting to the punch. There hitting and instantly moving. When they fight other guys they drive and dig in with there punches. They werent doing that to Margarito so its not the same effect but Shane did and that was the difference. If Margarito had never fought Cotto, he still wouldve lost the same way tonight. Cotto was on the run while Shane stood toe to toe with him all night. That was the difference

What Mosley did was exactly what Cotto should have done hit Margo and hold whenMargo start to gain momentum. Hence to say Shane did study Cotto vs Margo fight very carefully.

That was the plan how to avoid MArgo to gain momentum other thant that just hit him with conviction every time he was always there to be hit.

BREAKING NEWS! MARGARITO'S CHIN IS NOT INVINSIBLE! I always argue with people on this forum that Mosley hits harder than Cotto! Now who hits harder?

Styles make fights not necessarily power alone. Who knows who hits harder? Mosley or Cotto? My guess is as good as yours. But we do know who fought Margarito smarter... Mosley.

Like how Mosely knocked out Cotto? And Cotto was getting hit with the right hand all night...

Yeah gotta give Mosely and his team all the credit. I'm a big Cotto fan myself but I don't think he had any effect at all on Margarito losing to Mosely. Mosely fought a very smart and intelligent fight so you have to give the man credit. And lets speak reality here.. It's not like Mosely is some feather fisted fighter or something. He knocks people OUT.. He knocked Mayorga out and Mayorga was weighing in at about 170lbs on fight night when he fought him.. Mosely gets all the credit in a great performance. Good thing I recorded it on dvd!
