You know like a boxers legs, his chin is somthing that can go over time. In all honesty its safe to say that the shots Cotto landed were probably harder than the ones Mosley landed, but I'm pretty sure that Cintron and Cotto put a dent in his armor, and Mosley capitalized off of it. The sad this is unlike stamian or style once you lose your chin it is gone for good. A textbook example of this is Dwight Muhammad Qawi he tore through everyone by taking there best shots and walked through Holyfield (who was a monster puncher at cruiser) best punches only to get knocked out in one sided fashion in the rematch, and after that point Qawi looked very vulnerable. Another more recent example is mayorga who we all know a few years back was basically known for having the best chin in boxing. Takin all those shots to the head caught up to him by the time he fought Tito, and after that he seemed to be easily stopped. I love Margarito and I'm a fan of his, but he is known for his chin, it was probably his best tool along with his staminabut once your chin is broken it can never go back to normal. I think Margarito is honestly done and will be rocked many times from here on out.

One important thing. Mosley wasn't exactly cracking Marg's chin, he was ****ing te the sides of his head, ears etc. He hit him where he was vulnerable.

Second, Mosley bullied the bully. It was an unbelievable display of power and determination to bully Margarito around. In the 3rd or 4th round Mosley moved his ass into a ringpost with one arm. When I saw that I knew Marg's was in for a beating bevause he was in with a much stronger man than him who showed absolutely no respect or fear for him. From the 5th on you could see it in his eyes his confidence was wavering.
